This project, Soloy Pedestrian Bridge project, is being built at the request, in early 2021, of Senator H.D. Adán Bejerano (12-2 Circuit). The purpose is to provide safe travel across the Rio Fonseca for the many residents living on the east side of the river, across from the Boca Huzo village. Presently to cross the river, the residents routinely walk through the rivers flowing water. When the water level rises, this becomes dangerous and impassable.
